An international agriculture company breaking ground on a facility in Peru retained Talus Group to assess potential risks and threats – to the site and the company’s traveling and resident employees in particular, and to doing business in Peru in general.
A Talus Group principal worked with corporate staff, conducted an assessment visit to the site, and met with local U.S. Embassy officials, security company executives and others. Among other things, the assessment included gate and perimeter security, crisis-response planning, liaison with local police and security forces, and measures to ensure greater personal safety on-site and during travel to and from the facility.
Talus Group identified numerous security and safety issues, organized the risks by priority, and delivered a detailed assessment paired with recommendations for action. The result: our client is better prepared to improve employee safety, safeguard physical and intellectual property, and improve response time and procedures during crises.
