An international aircraft company asked Talus Group to determine whether a Thai business could perform certain services, and whether its principal officers had a reputation for corrupt business practices. Investigators interviewed the president/managing director and met with his business contacts and other local sources to generate a body of knowledge.

No significant negatives were found, but a Thai Army general associated with the company was flagged as a potential politically exposed person per FCPA criteria. Talus Group’s managing partner conducted Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) training at the business’s office in Lopburi and assisted with the investigation.
